We measure progress throughout the school year with a portfolio of skill acquisition. Students in grades 3-6 will take a norm referenced assessment at the end of the year to determine annual achievement and growth and schedule up to three annual conferences to report on progress.

At Wild Roots we provide explicit instruction in Math and Reading to develop a strong foundation for learning. Students then put their knowledge to use in Project and Problem Based Learning opportunities.

We have a certified special education teacher on staff who will schedule a meeting with you to review your child's needs.

At Wild Roots Academy there is no "bad" weather. Students can expect to be outside every day. Students will have all weather gear at school in preparation for the elements. In the event there is inclement weather, school may be closed for your safety.
